SENIOR CAPSTONE PROJECT: HOPE HILL

2020

In the state of Kentucky, 10,000 kids are living outside of their biological home. Hope Hill is an organization working to rebuild the lives and restore hope for these kids.

The nonprofit was originally founded in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, a small town outside of Lexington. The organization provides services to children and young adults that have been involved in the foster care system. One of the services they provide is an independent living program. This program helps college students create a life of their own by providing them with housing while the state pays for their education.

This narrative/feature package was created for my journalism capstone project at UK.
